Serving Groton, CT

The Honda Accord is a top-ranked midsize sedan with impressive credentials no matter which trim level you want to buy. This year, the Accord is even more appealing with the addition of some new features. From the outside in, the Accord gets notable upgrades beginning with refreshed styling on its front end. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are newly offered as wireless editions, and there are some changes to the trim lineup. While the Accord stands out as a whole, two trims to consider are the LX and the EX-L. The LX is the base trim level, and the EX-L is a mid-level trim. While the LX has many standard features to start with, the EX-L adds on some extras for those wanting a bit more comfort and conveniences in their everyday ride.

The LX and EX-L trim levels share the same performance capabilities. They are both driven by a turbo engine with a 1.5L displacement. Their engine has four cylinders and takes regular fuel. In total, you'll get about 192 HP in maximum power output from the base-level engine. An automatic transmission is paired with the engine. Front-wheel drive is a standard drivetrain on the LX and EX-L trims.

A streamlined and modern appearance is a highlight of the Honda Accord across the board. Some minor exterior differences distinguish the LX from the EX-L, too. The LX comes with 17-inch wheels to start with. It also has LED headlights and an otherwise contoured design with accentuated curves and a sculpted front end. A sunroof comes with the EX-L, which also has wheels that are two inches larger and a rear spoiler for a sporty exterior design.

A lengthy list of features comes with the LX trim level. To start, you'll get cloth seats, an eight-inch infotainment system, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. Dual-zone climate control is included for optimal comfort. The LX has Honda's Sensing® Suite with several advanced safety aids, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and forward collision mitigation. With the EX-L comes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Wireless phone charging and satellite radio are also added as standard amenities. The EX-L gains some extra safety aids, too, including parking sensors, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot monitoring. An auto-dimming rearview mirror is standard on this Accord trim.
